Weeding Outdated Materials
| An important part of maintaining a useful and viable library collection is to remove outdated materials. We encourage the faculty to help us with the process of “deselection”—the weeding of outdated or no longer useful items. We welcome your suggestions regarding individual items, or better yet, invite you to engage in a thorough evaluation of materials in your area of expertise. Who knows better than you which materials your students should be using? To make suggestions, or to arrange for a comprehensive evaluation, please contact the Collection Development Librarian using the information provided below: |
