Placing a Hold for Checked-Out Items to be sent to Extended Ed. Sites

To qualify for this service, you must be enrolled in an Extended Education class.
NOTE: Material can only be sent to the Burney, Red Bluff, or Weaverville sites.
If a book is currently checked out, you may place hold on it. When the book is returned, it can be sent to the Burney, Red Bluff,
or Weaverville site for you to pick up. You will receive a message through “Review My Account” in the “My Account” option of the
Library Catalog informing you when the material is available. You will also receive an email message and/or a notice by regular mail.
Before a book can be delivered to your Extended Ed. site, you must contact your site secretary 
confirming that you still want the material sent.  The secretary will notify the Library.
Remember Library policy: 5 holds and 5 book checkout limit per library user.
No checkouts to persons who owe fines or have overdue materials.

To place a HOLD for an item:

If the location is not CHECKEDOUT, use: Requesting Library Materials
to have item sent to the Burney, Red Bluff, or Weaverville Sites.

Continue placing HOLD by:

To check on the status of your HOLD:
Reply immediately to your site secretary when you are notified with an account message, email, or regular mail 
that material is available.  In your reply, you must identify yourself by name and give site location. 
Without your response, material will not be sent to your Extended Ed. site.
